B&Q solid wood flooring

New to solid wood flooring-can anyone please tell me why you get one piece 1200 long in each pack - is this the start piece? any help appreciated.

You're lucky. I only got a 1200mm piece every tenth pack in my B&Q flooring.

I'm told if you buy quality flooring (ie not B&Q), then all the pieces are long.

There is no start piece, it goes down in a random patern.

If you're new to this, read all the posts by WoodYouLike and mattysupra to see how to lay the floor. I was going to do it the wrong way and they saved me a lot of time and money.

please help me! in each pack i have 1@1200 long 4@900 long 3@700 long-3@500long and 4@300long all these make a 1200-but with only one at 1200 i can't seem to get them to look right when laying them?
