This is my first post on this forum though I have read lots of excellent tips and advice for a while. Anyway I hope someone (e.g WoodYouLike ) can clear up a quick query:-
I am laying a solid oak floor (boards are random packed up to 1200mm max length, 85mm wide, 18mm thick) onto elastilon underlay in my living room. The wood is Homebase stuff so alas there are a fair amount of shorter pieces throughout the packs. The subfloor is floor grade chipboard.
The instructions in the wood packs say DO NOT GLUE. Whereas in the elastilon guidance it seems to suggest that you can glue the ends of the boards only.
Can anyone shed any light on what is best?
Many thanks
