[b]steps to render single skin outside wall[/b]

can some one tell me the steps and the mix to render an outside bathroom wall which is single skin?
i beleive the mix is 4 sand 1 cement, and do i wet the wall 1st how thick is the scratch coat?and how wet should the mix be?
When do i put the finishing coat on ? i have never done it b4, but would like to give it a go.

4-1 Mix with a splash of Opti- mix ( feb) scratch coat 1/4" .few hours later apply finishing coat and float up. Wet the wall well.
 
Thanks for that infojust one last Q, how dry should the mix be roughly? sort of like pugg that you use for pointing or wetter?

ok before i start to put scratch coat on, do i seal wall with upa and let dry?
ok if i put in steps can you copy and paste correct way for me?...

seal wall with upa.

fix beadings.

wet wall well.

apply scratch coat approx 1/4" thick (slightly wetter than pointing cement).

allow couple of hrs to dry (when dry enough) and then wet wall again.

apply fininishing coat

is that correct or have i missed or inserted something wrong please

dont seal wall?
did i say b4 that the outside wall is single skin and also has be painted at some time,, but the paint looks very tired if you know what i mean
