Back box is full of beige plaster and cracked, what to do ?

Not sure exactly what the issue is.

Can you post a photo?

Have you had a wall replastered?

If the back box has plaster in, it will need to be carefully chipped out without damaging the cables.

All gypsum plaster is fire retardant.

I don't know if he's got a question.

I agree with Secure

Next time, you can use backbox spacers for plastering if you want. I have some but can't remember the brand name.

You could paint it perhaps? I've always thought that purple is the best colour for plaster in a backbox... Of course in the olden days one would use a vellum striped wallpaper in such a tricky situation, but those skills seem to have gone...

I've spent days stripping vellum stripe wallpaper from the interior of backboxes. It's tougher than woodchip to strip.

Always worth it in the end to see the backboxes restored though
