HI all,just had new bathroom fitted,toilet is a built in unit flush to cabinet.
problem is the seat hinge has broken and the only way to get to change it is to take out the toilet,as the brackets fasten underneath. Can i get a new seat that fits without having to remove the loo every time...

There are seats with fittings that use an expanding plug, so they're entirely fitted from the top.
I suppose if you carefully saw off the existing brackets at the top the old bolts would drop through, never to be seen again.
