Hi,

My 3 bed semi is about to have it's G-rated backboiler ripped out and a new Vaillant Ecotec plus 837 installed.

All the rads are brand new with TRV's - 9 in total to a max total of 50'000 btu.

The last rad on the system is a 7900 btu 700 x 2000 purmo single. This rad never really gets hot enough. The rest are absolutely fine.

Will this new boiler give the rad the required boost it needs and give me reduced bills at the same time??

The pipework is 2-pipe system and 15mm copper throughout.

yes your new boiler will heat the rad that your back boiler has previously struggled to heat n the past. make sure you get a proper flush though before new boiler is installed.
