Ok, so my landlord installed a new thermostat (Lux TX1500b). The AC is fine, but heating is a bit off. If the actual temp is 65 and I want to raise the temp to 70... I have to set the set-temp BELOW 65 in order for the heat to turn on! What's the issue here? Dud thermostat? Wiring? I called Lux and they were dumbfounded. Any help would be great!

I don't know any details about that thermostat, but at a guess it will have an output that will go live / connect to the common pin when the temperature is reached, and one that will go live / connect to the common pin when it's below the temperature - they've probably been wired back to front...

its wired ass first

take the 30 v signal wires and change them ower yaall

BTW they have a big diff on the stats ower there 2 mercury bulbs 5 deg is normal
