i have to put a couple of coats of bitumen on my aunts kitchen roof, its pretty big about 30m2.

do you reckon i could cut round the edges with a 4" and fire the rest on with a scuttle and a yard brush or should i just resign myself to spending a few hours on my knees? (insert your own pun)

You might find you have more chance of a response in the roofing section.

i thought that would of been industrial painting, but you might be right zampy, maybe repairing a roof would fall into the roofing catagory.

but i did it anyway and it worked really well, i used a big yard brush, tore threw it in no time. i had to leave it in a bucket of water though, it wouldnt fit in my brushmate
