Band saw blades.

Hi,
Acquired an old Evenwood bandsaw. No experience of them and not expecting "the best results" however what`s the easiest way to establish the size/length of blade I need please.

wrap a length of string around the wheels and measure length

Very little chance of that I'm afraid. Evenwood were a sheet metal fabricator who were taken over by Waddington in the early 1970s and they stopped producing tools around 1974 or 75 I think. The firm still existed a couple of years back having been sold off when Waddington collapsed but they are a sub component manufacturer
