Afternoon all,

My boss has asked me to look into changing all the room thermostats in the bedrooms in our hotel.

Currently they have a dial stat with a PIR occupancy sensor on them and the owner wants rid of them. A couple of them have minor damage to them and to replace them with the company who manufactured them is £150 per unit which is just ridiculous.

All I need is a normal digital stat which shows current room temp, can turn the room temp up and down, and hard wires in with 230v supply.

Can anyone advise me what the cheapest yet most robust is? I'm going to need about 30 of them.

That DT90e will work, however note that it is battery powered, which in a hotel is asking for trouble.

Is there some reason why they have to be digital? or even adjustable?

I think the only reason he wants digital ones is because we've found the dials broken on a couple of stats before so he wants an up button and a down button and that's it.

You wouldn't believe how rough some people are with these things.

I'll look into those though, thanks.
