bath and shower waste into stack

sorry if a basic question but is it OK to run the bath waste past the shower which T's into it, then out into the stack, or is it better to run both in separate 40mm pipes into the stack, I am thinking if the bath is emptied it could bubble up into the shower due to the height and pressure coming out. hope the question makes sense

Separate waste runs & stack connections are always best; if you tee into the bath run, you will have constant problems with the shower trap siphoning unless you fit an anti siphon trap or Hepvo.
