Bath plug dial broken?

My 3 year old son got in the bath leaning on this now its broken.

How do i repair it?

I bought a new one of those complete with the control cable from Homebase as it was a long cable type and the cable had broken. It was specific to the bath I had inherited.

You may be able to get just the knob from a tap spares supplier or bathroom shop.

Online http://www.shop.lunns.net/ is a good place to start.

Ok thanks how do i actually get it off to change it? Perhaps something has just come loose?

Is it possible to view the cable and down pipe once the dial/face plate has been removed?

Have a look to see if there is a grub screw underneath - allen key

i think there is a hole in the dial. you can see it in the picture at the top. is that where the alan key will need to go in?
