guys,

I just temp fitted my bath, when all is adjusted at right height ( for panel ) , I can ONLY manage to fit in a SHALLOW bath waste.....

and I mean, theres about 10mm clearance between the bottom of the waste S bend ( or whatever its called ) and the floor......

the main waste pipe goes straight in and out of the house wall, is it OK to use the SHALLOW waste pipe ?

someone said that you must use a bottle type trap on the bath, if the waste goes out directly into main soil pipe.

well, i cant fit anything bigger than this one,

will it be ok ? or will i have problems with the water being syphoned out of the shallow waste pipe ?

cheers

There are some flattened p bath traps, but you'll be ok with what you have if the pipe goes quickly to a gully or hopper

dig the floor up ?

aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that means removing tiles, lifting up floorboards on a 100 year + house !!!!!!!

washing is overated anyway, people managed 1000s of years ago, without all this fancy 'digging' of flooring.........

i say, ENOUGH with the water nonsense !!!!
