I’m in the middle of redoing my bathroom and I’ll be tiling all the walls. For the ceiling, I’m planning to install profile tracks for LED strips around the edges, with diffusers, facing downward to create a lit border all the way around the room.
One option is to chase the tracks into the existing plasterboard. But I also want to relocate a couple of ceiling lights, which means filling the current holes and cutting new ones. Because of that, I’m considering fitting PVC ceiling cladding instead.
Ideally, I’m after something very plain, a matte or satin finish and I’d really like to avoid visible lines/joints if possible. The wider the boards/panels, the better, since that would mean fewer joins.
Does anyone know of any simple, basic ceiling cladding that fits that description? Brand or product suggestions would be really appreciated. I’m basically just looking for a clean, plain ceiling finish.
