Hi there

I am currently working through redoing a bathroom.

The ceiling had a lot of mould growth. I have very nearly scraped all the paint back and have managed to get the ceiling to raw plaster.

I presume I dont just go and slap my regular paint on the top and was wondering if I need to put any kind of special steps in place.

Kind regards

Standard thinned matt emulsion will be fine as a base coat, followed by water based eggshell.

Unless you increase ventilation you may well end up back at square 1 again

Might be worth throwing a coat of mould kill emulsion up there to prevent any further mould from returning quickly. You won't have to keep painting it over and over every few weeks/months if you do this.
