Been removing flaking artex dimples off the ceiling in the bathroom. It turns out the I've got quite a few patches that need sorting out. I've never used artex in the past, so not sure where to start?

Do I re-artex all of the ceiling or just fill in the patches

Any recommendations?

Good plan to get it tested for asbestos before going any further.

OK just playing safe :D
I am suprised it is flaking after such a short time, I have not had much luck in matching textured ceilings, you need to know what technique the painter used, so I will defer to the experts who hopefully will be along soon :D

Best getting rid of it and re-plastering. They used to use a ready mixed Artex in a tub and I haven't seen it for ages. You can't match it with the powder stuff.
