i have a non-timer extractor fan i want to install in my bathroom. can i power it from my electric shower supply (45amp) via the pull-cord isolator? if i run it from the lights i will have to leave the lights on until the mist disappears. many thanks for your time.

Not easily, no.

You would need to supply a fused connection unit in cable the same size as your shower supply, which is nigh on impossible.

Why not supply the fan from the lighting circuit, but instead of installing a standard fan, install a pullcord model, or a PIR model, or a humidistat model....
