Our bathroom suffers from a bit of a damp problem, its a pretty big room and we tend to use the shower a lot, the existing fan is just not shifting enough air to keep the air in the air in the bathroom moisure free, I came across this one http://www.allaboutelectrics.co.uk/index.php?doc=12&vid=1260 the problem is it lacks timer overrun that I'd prefer it to have, found this http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/BGDT20.html the specs for the fan say its 100w max (its in the pdf datasheet), and the timer unit is rated at 20w-200w, whats concerning me though is that I'm not sure whether the timer unit was designed with that design of heavy duty fan in mind and I'm worried about wether the startup surge from that fan would be more than that timer unit can handle, though on the other hand, it shouldn't be more than any other 100w motor ? and its designed to handle motors upto 200w
Anyone advise whether it'd be wise or not to fit that fan on that timer control?
(anyone who mentions part P gets a slap
)
EDIT: link fixed
