Bathroom grab handles

I want to install some grab handles on the tiled wall above my bath. The wall is stud partition and it's unlikely a stud or nogging will be in the right place to screw into.

Would hollow wall anchors work?

People who use grab handles in those situations put quite a bit of force through the handle, and the worst thing you want is for one to give way.
If they're not reliable you're better off without them.

Yeah I wouldn’t entertain the thought of anything other than putting some timber noggin in the wall, as disruptive as that may be.

It's pretty common to fit suction ones, assuming the tiles are sound. You can get bath/floor mounted ones for the bath side.
