Bathroom Joists hole regulations

I have diagonally fed 40ml waste through 2 bathroom joists in the refit of my bathroom.

I am concerned about the regulations not allowing this. Can anyone help me with the rules.

I take it you mean the joist is notched at the top for the pipe ?

0.125 x depth of joist = gives you the total notch you can have.

a hole 25% off the joist size central along the axis not the 20% either end or the middle 1/3 or there abouts

Although this is for copper the diagram showing notching and drilling holds true for any services routed through joists.
