Replacing my bathroom light. Three wires: L, N and E from the replacement light unit are fed through the ceiling to a circular mini-junction box, of 1970s vintage, in the loft. When removing the old unit, I forgot to record which wire went where in this junction box!
The E connection to make in the junction box is no problem.
The other two connections are not obvious.
Incoming wires to the mini-junction box: a 3 core cable is split red, blue, earth. This is L, N, E, I presume.
But another incoming single-core red wire is connected to the same junction as the blue(N).
Red wire to a N terminal? Is this correct?

Thanks
Mike
