bathroom light fitting

Can anybody advise me as to whether or not it is ok to put a batten lampholder (shockguard type) in a bathroom? It already had one in the middle of the ceiling which was inop, so needs changing. There is no bath in the room, just shower, basin and wc.

If within permitted zones yes. see here be careful as zones have changed and so have some of the rules and you can't really mix and match.
