Bathroom mixer tap

Couldnt get any hot water from tap. So i switched hot water supply off, unscrewed the tap. But the problem is it just wont come out from the seating. Dont want to pull it out incase there is something ive missed-any ideas please?

If the insert wont come out, its just because the washer has swollen or split and jamming things up.
With gentle persuasion it will surrender.

Thanks i just felt that if i had loosened it till it almost came out, ididnt want to use brute force and do some damage tht would cost me more in the long run lol

One other thing tho-when i turned the cold water tap on some water came through where i had loosened the hot water tap.
