Bathroom RCD Protection

If an immersion circuit is inside a cupboard inside a small bathroom does it need to be RCD protected? It isnt run behind any plaster if you were wondering

Good question, is the entire circuit 'visable from cupboard to CU?

circuit travels from Cu in trunking into floor then in trunking inside cupboard to FSU

My feeling is that it should be RCD protected as it is not 'visible' for its entire length.

Besides RCD provides that little bit extra protection

Does it just go straight through the floor or does it run arround under the floor in between?

If the cable is not concealled in a wall or partition then there is no requirement to RCD protect it for that purpose.
The fact the unit is in the bathoom and they will be operating it from within the bathroom would say to me it is advisable to RCD it.
