Bathroom Sink Smell

Recently noticed a really foul egg smell from the bathroom sink after washing hands in it or brushing teeth etc.

Poured bleach down and the smell goes for a few days but then returns.

Also tried running loads of hot water down it and that has the same effect - smell goes for a few days but then comes back.

Is it worth putting some drain cleaner down? Will it do the trick? Or is there another solution?

Try cleaning out the overflow.

Your trap is not sealing the smell from your drains, check the amount of water in it.
It may be syphoning off or being pulled by another appliance such as a toilet.
