bathroom tiles

I boxed in a new sink unit with marine ply and then tiled it. It looked great until the tiles started coming off a few weeks later.

The adhesive said it would be fine for wood so I'm not sure why they would fall off.

Anyone any ideas?

To tile onto ply you need to use a powdered flexi adhesive for best results.
Was your adhesive tub adhesive.Also you need to ensure that there is minimal movement in the surface you fixing too.

You could have boxed in with plasterboard which is what I normally use,12.5mm as a rule.

Did the tile come away from the adhesive or adhesive away from the ply!
