Anyone used one/got one?

Whilst I have a small air compressor in the shed, it doesn't get used very much, being heavy, noisy, and a ball ache with having to have hose running everywhere.

I wondered how the battery ones fared, for stuff like cleaning sawdust out of tools and cleaning around sparkplug ports etc.

Hikoki, Metabo and Makita each have a version of this type of tool running at about 122m/sec

18v power tool battery leaf blower for large areas. I've used one in a car to blow bits out.
May shop vacs allow for hose to be connected to the out for blowing.
You can also buy smaller blowers like this.
Mates got one.

I've got a cordless leaf blower, a full size one.
I'm not so much interested in clearing large areas, more about working on the car, and garden/woodwork tools and the like. Blasting dust and gunge out of nooks and crannies.

Just remember for health and safety a vacuum is best.

I've had one for years ( like the one in the link above but Ryobi) and it's one of the most used/ most useful tools. Yes it clears tools.

Better still is the brushless model as this is more powerful, lighter and better to handle for more precise use.
