Hello all,

Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my problem, it is very much appreciated! I've tralled the site looking for a similar problem to mine to try and sort it myself but no luck.

I have a baxi 105 e combi boiler which i recently added a couple of new rads to the CH system, since then I can only get REALLY hot water when the CH is "on" on the timer, which means if the wife wants a bath we all have to sweat for half an hour with the CH on while she runs it! when the CH is "off" on the timer I get only luke warm water. If anybody knows why my boiler is being naughty would you be kind enough to offer your suggestions?

Kind regards
Tom

If you have really correctly described the fault then there is no obvious cause. However we find that many owners do not describe the situation correctly.

I am assuming that no one has swapped over the temperature sensor connections!

All I can suggest is that you get a competent boiler engineer to come and diagnose the problem.

I agree with Agile your post doesn't make sense!

Hot water should take priority!

More info may help ... which lights are on, is it an instant?

Bits of debris or limescale can cause the diverter valve on those models to stick. You can either do an overhaul of the valve or just replace it. I would give you a 90 percent change that your system is soiled, so I would get that cleaned first.
