Hi,
Hope someone has come across this problem.
We have had a Gas Combi Baxi 105e Instant for about 18 months or so working 7 rads. We do not have a room stat only valves on the rads.
We are now finding that the heating will come on and off during the day as normal on a "timed setting" but in the evening the heating seems to stop working and will only start to pump around the rads once we have run the hot tap first.
We have just had the boiler serviced by a local CORGI guy who came back last week to check everything and he says all is ok and nothing is wrong with it although to be fair when he comes during the day it does seem to work ok.
I can set the boiler to "constant setting" at about 7pm and nothing happens and then once I have run the hot tap for 10 secs or so the boiler then reheats the water for the taps and then transfers to the heating so it is a sort of work around but obviously something is not right.
Anyone got any ideas before we pay another engineer to come and inspect.
Many thanks in anticipation.
