It was working fine firts thing this morning. Then no hot water or CH.

Power light is on but no neon failure lights are lit. I can hear the pump start if I try to run the HW or CH but cannot hear a spark being generated.

The 3 way valve assembly appears to be working (the probe slides out to activate the switch.

I've checked that the fan and the pump are turning freely.

I've checked the flue and the condestate pipe.. all ok

I've tried a reset to no avail.

Any pointers gratefully received.

Whats the indicate pressure?

Try increasing it just a little.

I'm going to try changing the spark generator and the ignition lead tomorrow, if that does not sort it I'll call in the guy who fitted it.

Thanks again

Don't fit a generator until you've proved that it is getting a live feed. There are other components that have to prove before the generator will spark.

Also a DIYer should not be touching the igniion lead unless Gas Safe registered!

Started from scratch and found that when ch is turned up the fan light starts flashing. On looking at the documentation it suggests than its either the safety thermostat or the pcb (overheat thermostat). The guy who fitted it is coming Monday pm so will report back then. Thanks for the help.

Needs to be powered for about a minute and then the reset held for about 20 seconds!
