Baxi 105e should DH switch come on when DHW is in demand

Hi

I’ve got 2 issues with my Baxi 105e.

The heating comes in when the hot water is turned on with the nearest rads getting hot and the hot water runs hot, Luke warm, hot etc.

I’ve serviced and cleaned the diverter valve. This has stopped the first issue but the hot water still runs hot, luke warm, hot, etc

I’m going to replace the DHW thermostat next.

My question is when we run the hot water both microswitches for hot water and heating are switched on. Is this normal operation?

If replacing the DHW thermostat doesn’t work I’ll have to clean the heat exchanger.
