I have a Baxi 105e which is 3 years old, it will not fire up when you call for CH or Hot Water. After a short time of trying to light the first LED flashes, I have checked condensation drain and that is clear. Called out an engineer and he checked out the boiler, said every think checked out ok but still would not light, said all he could is try changing parts starting with gas valve. Any suggestions?

:!: get a diferent "engineer" - unless he agrees that any part he changes that does NOT repair the fault will not be charged for, that way you might get a few new parts for nothing. ;)

Changing parts until you hit the right one is not exactly the best way of doing things.
Fairly easy boiler to work on, get somebody who specialises in Baxi's or somebody who specialises in repairs.
Should be easy enough to find it.

you've not called an engineer, you called a chancer, these boilers are really easy to fix, its a flame failure fault and a proper boiler engineer will diagnose it in half an hour using the appropriate instruments,

As the experts have said. It would appear a simple repair - when in the hands of a decent boiler specialist.

right does the fan run yes or no
do you here spark yes or no
does it light yes or no
these are basics
and if he can not get answer to any these and does not get out multi meter then get another registered gas engineer out
