No I didnt, the pin stays fully up when the pump is running, it fully retracts when the pump stops running, if the pin is staying up with the pump off that is your problem

But the pump seems to be running and the temp lights are all on even though the burners off

If the pin is staying up it is not the diaphragm, underneath the diaphragm is a tiny orifice, you need to clean that out

Ok m8 thanks it won't hurt to throw a new one in for £3

of course not but they seldom go, give the pin a really good clean too and grease it

Took it off cleaned it all up prodded the hole put all back together same thing is still happening

Turn the boiler CH thermostat down low does it still go to 80 deg ? it looks like it is cycling on the Hi limit thermostat

It does not move from 80
