Absolute basic common fault on a basic boiler .Part anywhere from £4 to £11 to buy.
I would love to know what the temp repair was perhaps they stuck something back together with bullsh#te

i have no idea what they did, but why they could not find that fault with the boiler infront of them when you could tell what it was by my post . i bet it never said on his laptop about this sensor so would not have thought about it. if it had not been for your post i think they would still be here now. thanks again for your help

Believe it or not The boiler you have is not that bad a boiler and for 30 quiid extra at the time you could have had the next model up which has a better board and more temp controls etc on it.
If i was changing it i would fit the baxi 105HE(33% better water delivery) as it would fit straight onto the existing jig with no alteration to pipework or electrics and little if no alteration to flue hole depending on how it was cut originally.Only thing you would need is condensate pipe which you would need with any boiler.


Worcester live on name from years ago and not worth the extra money. And when they do fek up they are expensive
