Hi i wonder if anyone can shed any light on this problem (so i know what i'm talking about before i get an engineer to sort it.)..When i run the hot tap with the central heating turned off...the radiators start to warm up, and the hot water is tepid....the boiler fires up as normal..The diaphragm in the casing at the front left hand side has been changed ( made no difference)......the heating works just fine ..Bill

there a black motor onto of brass diverter valve at bottom left of boiler. there a little retaining clip that secures the motor down. sometimes they become loose thru vibration.

if motor doesn't move valve down the heat used for dhw just circulate round heating giving symptoms u describe

Thanks for the speedy reply..is it ok for a layperson to fix things like that or is it best left to a heating engineer......Bill......I suppose i could have a look see couldn't i ?
