Troubleshooting my 'beloved' Bahama (from my previous house) was the reason I joined this forum a few years ago !

Sounds like a flame rectification problem to me, check the electrodes for damage or sooting
That also means its a job which should be done by a competent person which usually means a CORGI.
Its pretty obviously likely to be a failure to detect the flame problem. However the cause could be the PCB or electrodes or leads or even the gas valve or its settings.
