i have had this problem for a few days now and would like some help before getting ripped by an engineer when i open my hot tap the burner kicks in only for it to go out after a few seconds later it is constant on/off on/off which means i cannot get any hot water any ideas? cheers

do you get any neons flashing at you big kenny?
It could be some of the leads have worked loose on the flame sensing electrode or the electode postion. If it aint these more likely a flame sensing elecrode or p.c.b that has gone.
