Been looking at above boiler as it is claimed to be noisy. Bled system and pump and all appears quiet. Going to drain and refill using sludge remover and see how it goes. Whilst there, customer complained of inconsistent dhw temperature between taps. The boiler is in downstairs utility room and the main sinks hot water temp is red hot. There is a cloakroom next to sink and the hot water in there and also the rest of the house is still quite hot but i can hold my hands under them without getting scolded unlike the main utility sink! I dont think its a problem myself but causing customer concern. Could it be that the cloakroom hot tap, although in same room, is on end of run therefore suffering from heat loss through all pipework or is there possibly a better explanation?
