baxi combi boiler 105 he need change diaphragm?

Hi Just a quick question I have a baxi combi boiler. The diaphragm needs to be replaced. Which i need to order the part. Until I get the part I have bent the level arm on the micro switch slightly. So it activates when the hot tap is turned on.

Is this safe to do as a temp measure until i can get the part and install it. The microswitch only activates when the tap is turned on and the pin comes out to push the bent level arm.

On the model this thread is about then its not going to cause any big problem.

That may not apply to any other boiler/model.
