Hi people
I have recently moved into our house and have discovered our heating system is riddled with probs any help would be appreciated. It's a Baxi Genesis 80 and has the following problems.
Some radiators are heating up so hot they burn your hands ( these are sited on ground level along with the boiler) others are not heating at all ( these are on the 2nd floor) , and others are getting only slightly warm mostly on the top of the rad ( these are on the 1st floor ).
Hot water is intermittent and runs hot and cold ( more cold than hot ), and the connected shower is a mira excel ( which i have been told should not be used with a combi boiler, is this true ? ).
Within the last two days the pressure has been dropping so far that it reads no pressure at all. And i have to turn a vavle below the boiler which seems to push the needle back up for a few hours
I have called out two local heating contractors, one of them said it may be the control board then proceeded to clean the combustion chamber and left. The other refused to touch the boiler after he came out and seen it.
Any ideas as to what the problem(s) could be would be great.
Thanks
