Totally no experience with Boilers

After draining central heating and filling back up with a sludge remover, i bled all rads and fired up the pilot light on the baxi.
Pilot lit and the boiler fired for around 2 mins then when out
The pilot light is still on but the boiler will not fire.

Re bled all rads
Checked pump which is making the usuall pump sound
still it wont fire its burner.

Have noticed when switching from hot water to heating (old system with a knob next to hot water tank) there is not the usuall clunk noise as the flow of water changes course from rads to hot water tank. Could this be low pressure?

No pressure guage on boiler.
Thanks

you have an air lock, bleed pump and reduce speed if it is up high.

are there any bleed points at the hot water cylinder pipework??

Has the system filled properly?? did the rads blead ok??

How did you introduce the sludge remover to the system?

Have bled the pump a good few times and the system has started to work after a lot of attemps and bubbling. I still have one dead radiator ground floor which refuses to heat, stone cold. Will give the chemical time to work through it.. Thanks for your help and advice...
