Hi,

Wonder if anyone could offer some advice. We have a baxi solo 3. Pump starts up, pilot light and fan light on, burners on, overheat off. Sounds like it's working and can hear water going in to radiators but it isn't heating up and water isn't hot from tap. No steam coming from outside vent. Any idea what it could be?

Thanks in advance

Do you mean the boiler is firing, or the burner LIGHT is on?

If firing, does it cut out quickly or continue? If it is firing continuously, the heat HAS to go somewhere:
Heating circuit
Hot water
Open vent into header tank

You say "outside vent". Do you mean overflow or do you have a pressurised sytsem?

look like failed on main burner being light on. a few things to check: gas valve, electrodes & sparking, and pilot injector. Need a boiler repair man.
