Bedning the ends of Twin and earth to make a connection

Ring, Lighting, etc.

What's best practive - to bend the end of the conductors before screwing them in or leaving them single before screwing them in?
 
If it is a single conductor going in to a screwed terminal, always bend it double before terminating. It gives a better, more solid connection.

Don't bend em double if you have two or more conductors being terminated(eg a ring final connection).

EDIT: Don't, under pain of death, twist solid conductors together.
 
All depends on the size of the conductor relative to the terminal, 1mm going into a terminal designed to take 6mm would benefit from a bend, 4mm maybe not
