Hi - I'm trying to fix my in-laws Beko oven - it had stopped working, so I checked the element in the lower oven, it had burnt out, so I replaced that - turn it on - and found that the digital control panel and the lower oven are still not working. There's a wee red light comes on, and the top oven works fine.

Is it likely that there's a fuse blown too?

I found what could be the fuse, but unfortunately I didn't any way of testing it, and I'm not back there for a bit. Just wondering whether I should order a spare fuse and try that - or if the problems bigger and more fatal and we should just buy a new oven

attached is a photo of what I think is the fuse... I may be wrong

Given what you say then I'd agree that thermal switch could be at fault. Not expensive, so not a problem to try.
