Hi

I have ordered a Belling all electric range cooker. The Belling on-line specification states a 32A rated fuse. I have added all the kW and it is 14.55kW max.
My existing cooker circuit is 10 metres in length and has a 32A MCB for protection.

I am asking if this circuit is OK for my new cooker.

The Belling Kensington 90E specification has 14.7kW max but states a 45A fuse.

This is why I need to check.

Many Thanks

If the maker says 32A fuse then thats what you must use.

There is no point adding all of the rings together because in operation they won't all be on full blast all of the time together.

The total actual load is reduced by using a technique called diversity.
