Hi

we hit a problem this week with our gates where they stopped working via intercom and code, and would only work via the key fob.

Had an engineer out today who said all the wiring was wrong (despite it previously working fine) and after rewiring it correctly only 1 of the gates works. The other remains closed. The engineer says this motor has failed.

In the attached, it shows the wiring as it is now. Does it look correct? In block 3, I can see that #16 does not link to #13 (COM) while #14/15/17 do. Should it?

Any info appreciated before we shell out on new motors.

Did both gates open and close correctly via fob ? before engineer looked at them.
Does intercom and code still work correctly?
Did he swap the motors around on the controller to prove the motor is faulty?
Motors are not cheap.

Yes both gates worked before

intercom / code / fob all work, but only 1 gate.

no, didn’t swap anything around to prove the logic that a motor is gone

Was any programme changes done?
There is an option to turn of one motor in programming,leaving only one motor working.

No programming that I know of. Went out to walk the dog tonight. Both gates opened! Came home and only one opened.
