Hi all,

Our kitchen sink and cupboard doors, and worktops are looking a
bit dull and tired.

We don't want to replace them because we are moving house.

What's the best things to use in order to bring a shine back to
them ?

Is there anything that will clean the sink top ?
Is there anything that will improve the appearance of the cupboard
doors and worktops without repainting etc ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

windolene window cleaner on stainless steel or glossy surfaces.
Jif cream for the sink with a scouring pad, and vinegar soloution on/in the units

Bicarbonate of soda. The best cleaner there is! White vinegar too is excellent. You don't need to waste money on expensive chemical cleaners.

White vinegar OR sodium bicarbonate can be used but NOT both at the same time. Vinegar is acid and bicarb is alkaline. They will neutralize each other in a great fizz-up! Alkalis are best for removing grease whereas acids are better for limescale and tarnished metal. You can add common salt to either if you want some abrasive action.

orange peels left to soak in water in a stainless steel sink will clean it and make the room smell fresh, more commonly used in prisons as an air freshener. you dont want to know what they stick there posters up with

Didn't it work ? because it was rubbish or ?

Tis the only thing which has taken staining and alloy scuffs out of our sink and draining board... I have not tried it on cookware yet.
:D

Oh  wow, it really worked. Stains around the white sink are no longer an issue. :D
