Best cylinder locks on the market ?

Hey all,
I'm thinking about replacing a cylinder lock and prepared to pay a little extra for a good upgrade.
I'm assuming that the more pins in a lock the more secure it is?
Can anyone make any suggestions ?

I guess it depends on how secure the actual door fittings are as to if its worth it.

seen external doors you could kick down as the frames arent very well secured.

Ok. That makes a good read.
It seems to be between £10-20 for a one star rated cylinder lock.
Whereas a 3 star cylinder will set me back about £50-60.
