Hi,
My Hotpoint WM13P has packed in after 13 years without a single problem. I have spent ages looking at reviews with regard to a replacement. Nothing stands out but the concensus on the Forum seems to be "you get what you pay for".
Well I can't afford a Miele. So looking at the other end of the scale "buy cheap and fix it" can anyone advise on a machine that is easy to maintain and the spares are readily available?

Thanks

Mike

bosch good make 2 year gtee as well.

I say Bosch too. They are very reliable. They usually offer an increase to ?5? year cover for a reasonable price.

In the recent "Which" report on Washing machines, the cheapest best buy was the Whirlpool AWO/D 5526 at about £260.

It washes well but is rather noisy.

The cheapest Bosch in the best-buy table was the Bosch WLX 24162 at about £440

If you go to your local library they will let you read their reference copy of the Which review free.
