Best paint for MDF units

Evening all,


What is a good paint to use on bare MDF cupboards in a living room please, I am after a shiny tough finish

[big-all]

mdf primer undercoat and perhaps gloss with rubbing down[de nib] in between if you want gloss semi gloss would be easier and still quite clean looking
but as i hate painting, i would wait for others to make suggestions as technology may have advances
